What increase microscope is required to view the following?
What type of microscope would be needed to do the following? What resolution is needed and if you use the light – instead of an electron microscope – would this brightfield, darkfield, or polarized light? The genetic structure human – and all the chromosomes – and a single cell in the human body.
The answer to this question depends largely on the specific circumstances of the examination of chromosomes. If you were to use an unstained preparation, none of the microscopes to help you see the chromosomes terribly easy. However, if you were to look at cells that are active in mitosis, and that is for fixing and staining of cells, you could see the cell structure, including condensed chromosomes under a microscope optical bright field and fluorescent lighting either or depending on how that stain the material in the cell. This could be done using a 100X lens or perhaps even a lens with a 60X or 63X (different depending on the manufacturer of the microscope). For the fine structure of cellular components, including vesicles in future and may be required more likely to use the electron microscope. Remember that in light microscopy, which is the difference in refraction (or contrast) that makes visible signs.
