It is the fuel pressure regulator on the gas tank of my vehicle?
I have a 1996 Dodge Dakota, 3.9 L engine, 5 speed, 2 wheel drive. Im thinking fuel pressure regulator is to get in my truck, is the knob located on the engine or gas tank?
In most vehicles is in the fuel line to the previous posters are kind of correct. But you have a Dodge that means that the regulator is mounted on the module fuel pump inside the tank. Everything is replaced as a unit.
