What else can I use other than a mask to protect chemical spray paint?

I make art with a lot of paint spray, but can not afford a breathing mask at or in a while. I do not want to damage my brain, the inhalation of chemicals. Are there technical or other elements that can protect me from the chemical spray paint? Thanks
