If so many people support the McCanns, why do many news forums & indeed the McCann sites have to moderate?
the comments made…..
Before anyone says that it’s because people are making nasty & vile comments about Maddie I would beg to differ. Any commnets have always been about the parents.Are they afraid the comments section of their webpage [including newspapers ] would not be supportive of the McCanns at all?
I came across an online petition to be sent to Social Services in support of the McCanns. It was a moderated petition and nearly all of the comments said next to them “rejected”. So this petitioner wants to send off a petition which shows hundreds of rejected comments on it? Is that support?
If the McCanns are getting so much worldwide support why not show it. By the way I could go on their website/YouTube site right now, set up 40 usernames and posts comments telling them how they are so lovely under each and every one of those usernames which does not make the support they are getting genuine?
Also where are all the celebs who were fawning over them in the beginning?
It is indeed a mystery. I always thought that if you had nothing to hide there was nothing to fear from telling the truth, and that means answering the awkward questions that many people like myself have been asking from the beginning of this case.
And as for the celebs, I understand that Madeleine’s case has probably touched their hearts, as I’m sure it’s touched everyones hearts on here. (Or looking at it with a certain amount of cynicism, publicity is publicity nonetheless) They should have, perhaps, done a little more research though on the situation though before opening their mouths, basically they have been supporting child neglect. Methinks they may have backed the wrong horses here.
