How do you make Halo Combat Evolved for the PC more high res?

I have halo 1 for the pc and i’m wondering how I can make it high res. I know the graphics can be better? where do I change it?

Go the the menu, options, gameplay options (or maybe its visual options?) push all the buttons/levers to maxiumum. But beware, your comp has to be at least decent to run Halo on high (actually it can be pretty bad and still run it med-high). If your graphics card is at least like a 8800GT or even a 8400GT (Nivida) you could probally pull it off with 2gb ram.
